What this app does
- Send real-time notifications from your smartContract account into designated Slack channels.
- Enable one-click actions and deep links that open records in your smartContract web app.
- Respect roles & permissions — only users with the appropriate SaaS subscription can use the integration.
How to install
Only workspace admins can install this integration. Installing requires granting the app the scopes it needs to post messages and read user/team info.
- Confirm your subscription — This integration is included with your smartContract SaaS subscription. Make sure the customer account is active.
- Start the Slack integration from the admin console — In the smartContract admin portal go to Masterlist → Slack Integrations. Click the Connect button, confirm the Slack authorisation dialog when it appears, and allow the requested permissions. You’ll see a confirmation message once smartContract successfully links with your Slack workspace.
- Test — send a test notification from the admin portal and confirm it appears in Slack.
Installation instructions (detailed)
- As a workspace admin
- Click the Add to Slack button above.
- Sign into the Slack workspace where you want the app.
- Review the requested permissions and click Allow.
- After Slack redirects you back, you’ll see a success page. Return to the smartContract admin portal to finish channel mappings.
- If you want to install only for specific channels
- During the install flow, approve the app for the workspace; then restrict posting by configuring the channel mapping in the admin portal (leave other channels untouched).

Post-install checklist
- Run a test notification from your admin console.
- Verify commands (e.g. /yc status) work for intended users.
- Confirm channel mappings and permission settings in the smartContract admin panel.
Permissions & Privacy
